Did we just get a new Twilight Saga book?

Hello Everyone,

I have not posted anything here for almost umm, 7 years? So I guess not many of you are still left here, but anyhow I believe that the time came to post this big news, which we have all been waiting for for sooo many years (though probably it could have happened some time earlier, we're all old now, right?)

We are finally getting a new Twilight book. It is called Midnight Sun and has a very familiar cover with a pomegranate instead of an apple. Ya'll remember the last chapter of the first book? The Edward's view of the story? This book is this but more, it is the whole Twilight from the Edward's point of view. And well, to be honest back in the day I was rather waiting for the following story, maybe Nessie's future or a follow-up, but here we are and we are getting the replay of what we all know so well. Is it good? Is it bad? I have not read it yet, it is still not available in my country, but once it will I might read it.

For now, let's focus on what Stephenie Meyer wants to give us with the book:

My favorite part in that note is this 'Completing Midnight Sun has brought back to me those early days of Twilight when I first met many of you. We had a lot of fun, didn’t we? Throwing proms and hanging out in hotel rooms and reading on the beach (while getting the most epic sunburns of our lives). We made hilarious t-shirts and fabulous websites. We found kindred spirits that are still in our lives now. I hope going back to the beginning of Bella’s and Edward’s story reminds you of all that fun, too.'  - Why? Well, it is quite obvious, I am one of the examples of making those Twilight websites, there were many of us, it was a great online social experience, the tweets and the memes, the jokes or the fanfics and the funny t-shirts. Thanks to this I learned how to create and customize a blog like this, which got a lot of views. I made info notes on the characters, which people still look up until today. And I had a lot of fun in that world, so this argument speaks up to me and I might want to go back to those times with this book.

Nevertheless, there is one question that everyone wants to ask - 'Why now?' Meyer answered this question, she says that the reason is very simple - she finally finished it. Back in the day some chapters of this book have been leaked and she stopped writing, but with time (13 years!!) she kept writing and she has finished it giving us something cool to do in the pandemic times. She was very afraid that she would not keep up with expectations that were created after those leaked chapters and was shocked that after putting the book on her page it crashed immediately.

What is also interesting is that the readers can be shocked with how anxious Edward is. As Stephenie says he seems confident in the book, but he gets very anxious and broken by Bella and this anxiety also infected Stephenie during writing, she says for New York Times.

How about you? Are you going to read this book or have you already read it?
